Super edge-connectivity of mixed Cayley graph   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
A graph X is max-λ if λ(X)=δ(X). A graph X is super-λ if X is max-λ and every minimum edge-cut set of X isolates one vertex. In this paper, we proved that for all but a few exceptions, the mixed Cayley graph which is defined as a new kind of semi-regular graph is max-λ and super-λ.  相似文献

In the present paper, laser pulse distortion/breakup and the effect of the plasma channel on the laser propagation through the collisional plasma have been studied by using moment theory approach. Second order nonlinear differential equations of the beam width parameter have been derived for the propagation of the laser through uniform homogenous plasma and preformed plasma channel having parabolic density profile. Differential equations of beam width parameter have been solved numerically using Runge Kutta method. It has been observed from analysis that when the laser pulse propagates through the homogenous plasma, the low intensity front and rear parts of the laser get defocused/diffracted and the high intensity central/main portion of the laser pulse gets self-guided. As a result of this, the laser pulse gets distorted. This distortion of the laser has not been observed when the laser pulse is propagated through the plasma channel having density minimum at the axis and maximum at the edges. The laser pulse is guided as a whole, even the low intensity front and rear parts of the laser are also guided. Therefore, the plasma channel is useful to prevent the distortion/breakup of the laser.  相似文献

In this paper we deal with the construction of hybrid flux-vector-splitting (FVS) schemes and flux-difference-splitting (FDS) schemes for a two-phase model for one-dimensional flow. The model consists of two mass conservation equations (one for each phase) and a common momentum equation. The complexity of this model, as far as numerical computation is concerned, is related to the fact that the flux cannot be expressed in terms of its conservative variables. This is the motivation for studying numerical schemes which are not based on (approximate) Riemann solvers and/or calculations of Jacobian matrix. This work concerns the extension of an FVS type scheme, a Van Leer type scheme, and an advection upstream splitting method (AUSM) type scheme to the current two-phase model. Our schemes are obtained through natural extensions of corresponding schemes studied by Y. Wada and M.-S. Liou (1997, SIAM J. Sci. Comput.18, 633–657) for Euler equations. We explore the various schemes for flow cases which involve both fast and slow transients. In particular, we demonstrate that the FVS scheme is able to capture fast-propagating acoustic waves in a monotone way, while it introduces an excessive numerical dissipation at volume fraction contact (steady and moving) discontinuities. On the other hand, the AUSM scheme gives accurate resolution of contact discontinuities but produces oscillatory approximations of acoustic waves. This motivates us to propose other hybrid FVS/FDS schemes obtained by removing numerical dissipation at contact discontinuities in the FVS and Van Leer schemes.  相似文献

A delay-differential equation modelling a bidirectional associative memory (BAM) neural network with three neurons is investigated. Its dynamics are studied in terms of local analysis and Hopf bifurcation analysis. By analyzing the associated characteristic equation, its linear stability is investigated and Hopf bifurcations are demonstrated. The stability and direction of the Hopf bifurcation are determined by applying the normal form theory and the center manifold reduction. Numerical simulation results are given to support the theoretical predictions.  相似文献

In this paper, the predator–prey system with the Beddington–DeAngelis functional response is developed, by introducing a proportional periodic impulsive catching or poisoning for the prey populations and a constant periodic releasing for the predator. The Beddington–DeAngelis functional response is similar to the Holling type II functional response but contains an extra term describing mutual interference by predators. This model has the potential to protect predator from extinction, but under some conditions may also lead to extinction of the prey. That is, the system exists a locally stable prey-eradication periodic solution when the impulsive period satisfies an inequality. The condition for permanence is established via the method of comparison involving multiple Liapunov̀ functions. Further, by numerical simulation method the influences of the impulsive perturbations and mutual interference by predators on the inherent oscillation are investigated. With the increasing of releasing for the predator, the system appears a series of complex phenomenon, which include (1) period-doubling, (2) chaos attractor, (3) period-halfing. (4) non-unique dynamics (meaning that several attractors coexist).  相似文献
